We will begin with an introduction to the world of olive oil, we will situate ourselves in the scenario we are going to talk about, Jaén, its landscape, its olive groves, varieties, etc.
We will know what types of oil are produced in an oil mill, the how and why of each one of them.
We will go inside to visit the old mill, where the oil was produced 25 years ago, old systems of presses, capachos, etc. We will also see an interesting projection of the old systems of elaboration of the 50s.
We will talk about conservation in the old cellar and we will watch a current video of how the fruit is harvested and treated.
Then we will go to the modern factory, where modern technology and systems are the ones we have to know: centrifugation, shakes, by-products?
We will finish the visit with a good taste in our mouths; tasting and tasting of our Extra Virgin Essential Olive, three types of oils, three flavors, three aromas...

- Children (under 9 years old): Free
Visit to the Olive Oil Mill:

Detalles de la actividad
- The activity is developed in Oleícola San Francisco C/Pedro Perez s/n 23520 Begijar (Jaén). At 6 Km. from Baeza and 14 Km. from Úbeda.
- The approximate duration is 3 hours with visit to the olive grove or one hour and a half without visit to the olive grove.
- We are open all year round
- We have guided tours in Spanish, French and English depending on the schedule, please consult us!
